Sorry if this is covered elsewhere but I can't seem to find the answer im lookin for

I've got two alpine pdx1.1000 rated at 1000w rms. One of these would be underpowering a btl rt? And I couldn't run two to one sub? What would you guys do?

I have an audi A4 so only one huge box would fit in my trunk

Yes you will be underpowering a BTL if you just ran one of them but there is nothing wrong with underpowering them. Yes you can run both of them to the BTL or sell both so you can get one amp to run to the BTL. If you cant strap the amps together then you will have to run one on each set of coils. Hope that helps

Anyone ever run two amps to one sub, one to each voice coil? I don't think pdxs can be strapped.

You can run one to each voice coil. Not a big deal.
