August 17, 201015 yr all my coils read 3.0ohms is this normal? suppose to be dual 2sHow are you reading them? dosent sound right. shouls read like 1.5-1.7 DCR give or take
August 17, 201015 yr Some dmms you have to touch the leads together and whatever it reads subtract from the total I believe. Try touching the lead together an see if you get a 1 ohm reading. I may completely wrong here, someone correct me if I am.

August 17, 201015 yr Your meter is messed up...every single coil has the exact same amount of wire wound on the former..it is impossible to have any more then 1.4-1.5 ohms of DCR.That is the "standard" D2 DCR.

August 18, 201015 yr You can get a recone for a Chaos..so it is a Chaos and not a Fi sub.Just let me know if you need it.

August 19, 201015 yr Put them in..see if they play. Then go from there. If you bought them new, you aren't holding your tongue right. Regardless as your email said, whatever you do..do NOT wire those things to .5ohmAny amplifier "manufacturer" that says you can run their amplifiers at .5ohm are completely retarded.
