Okay I'm looking to upgrade from the SA-12's to the new Z12's. I'm going to be powering them with a SAZ-3500D. My concern is designing a new enclosure. I have a slot ported enclosure (3.5 cubes tuned to 32Hz) I would like a ported enclosure using aero ports. My current enclosure measures 36" x 19" x 17". I would like to keep it around that size, any ideas would be appreciated

Why do you want a new enclosure just for the sake of using aero ports? I understand you want to keep the same dimensions which would mean your enclosure volume wouldn't change enough to make it better/worse.

Do you want aero ports for the sake of easy port tuning for competing?

I've just seen quite a few boxes that seem to get loud with the aero ports. I want to try something different for my new subs
