So just curious. Does anyone like tequila here? I for one love it! I'm not talking about that crappy Jose Cuervo Gold stuff that most people remember from their college days. I am talking about 100% Agave Tequila. I have for the last 7-8 years learned to appreciate and understand what real top notch high quality Tequila is. My friends call me a Tequila snob because I refuse to drink Patron! Blah!!! That stuff is NOT the best Tequila as most people think. If you thought Patron was the best it's not your fault. It's just good marketing and product placement. Also the fact that the HipHop industry glamorized it as well.

Anyhow here is some top notch Tequila that I am really into right now:

Casa Noble Tequila This stuff is awesome. They have 5 different bottle to choose from. You cannot go wrong with any. From the Blanco to the Single Barrel Anejo. My personal favorite is the regular Anejo. It is a great sipping Tequila. Awesome w/cigars! I luckily can find it in a local liqour store for $39.99. Most places carry it for about $20 more than that!

Next is this stuff:

This is Tequila Fortaleza (in Mexico it's known as Los Abuelos). The Resposado is the quintessential representation of what tequila should taste like. Enough said!

Lastly is Chinaco.

Tequila Chinaco is consistently great Tequila. Has been around for a long time, it is exceptionally smooth and has legendary flavor. The Reposado is loved by many Tequila aficionados. Tasty!

Anyhow I just thought I'd share the Tequila I am into right now. I recommend any of these in the Blanco, Reposado, or Anejo depending on your taste. If you are just curious and want to try learning about Tequila. I recommend starting with the Blanco's. It will give you the purest taste of Agave, the plant from which tequila is made from.

Anyone who drinks Tequila realizes at some point while they're drinking it they all of a sudden get a boost of energy. I even feel like I sober up a bit. That is because the agave plant which tequila is made from has a kind of stimulant effect. Now it's a fine line because after so much your just drunk, but for me maybe 3-4 shots in I get this effect. Any more than that like I said it just drunken foolishness. Haha ...

Tequila is my favorite liquor. The best I've ever had is Clase Azul Resposado. I had it in Cabo with my wife and it is damn good. So i brought some back to the states.

I drink Sauza Hornitos just about every weekend. I find it to be on the level of Patron, etc, etc, for about $25.

I haven't has Clase Azul ... although I am familiar with it. I'll have to try it! Mmmm I think I'm going to be drinking some tequila this weekend.

Love Tequila......But tequila=babies in my family. So until the wife and I deicide its time, not Tequila for me unless its a guys weekend out.

Yeah Tequila has a bad rap because of all of the cheap crap we all drank in our youth (college maybe). But you get your hands on a nice bottle and it's a whole different ball game.

i love it... patron is not the best..... it is how ever the best marketed! but i do enjoy patron!

there is a company that makes a great takillya here in austin... its good stuff.. and i met the owner here at a local store promoting his own stuff... although i cant recall the name of it... because a rapper never sings about it!

That's all good tequila. 100% Agave and you are drinking the right stuff. I just started drinking "top shelf" and am spoiled. BTW I went to Jalisco in Mexico and visited the Hacienda San Juan del Refugio. This is where they make Herradura and El Jimador. I recommend any tequila lovers to visit this place it is an awesome experience!
