Posted September 25, 201014 yr Right now I'm building a new box for one 8" sundown Sa-8 that I'll be using until I get another 1 or 2. My current box is tuned too high for my liking. How much square port area is recommended for these subs? What is the lowest you would recommend I tune the box to?Right now I'm tuned to 34 hz, between .75 and .85 cubes after displacement by messing with some dimensions, with 13 inches of square port area. Is this enough for one Sa-8? I don't want to make too big of a box for it per Jacob's recommendations.Thanks.
