  • This build will be epic

That would be sick. Maybe you could make a second box with quick disconects and a battery tray for two extra batts. Then you could do burps safely. And take it all out or put It in, in like fifteen minutes.

well it sounds like thats the plan. im gonna get jacob to send my recones to my motel room and get started. I have my old sa-8s with me since he sent my new 4 sa-8s here to my room also. I actually already have a box i can use for on the seat. One Alton designed for me but i couldnt fit comfortably under the seat. plenty of room on the box for another battery and the 2nd saz3k

this is going to be watched closely by many folks who have similar goals....taste.

too cool of a approach!

SA8's FTW!!!!!! :woot::woot:

the LCD handheld

Cool,

I've chatted with shiZZZon about them a few times and I'm still not sure which one I want.

Any two ways about it, it's always nice to have a good, dependable meter to test new designs out!

you can use a laptop with it if you want also. i liike that

I'm leaning toward the handheld one myself.

Since I plan on tweeking my build again this year to try for better numbers.

Well after many failed tries i cant seem to get as loud as i think i should be. (and others) Even though i think my new box turned out kick ass, it seems it may be aiding in my low numbers. I got a SPL bass meter a few weeks ago and my best is only a 137 @ 38 burp and 135 on music. I have swapped every component out one at a time expept the box. looks like its time for a new box re re re re re re re re rebuild.

Ready.......Break!

Soon we will see the blow through build. HaHa!

Going to be a major revision to my build here soon too. Maybe I need to work on other peoples cars so I have a new project that don't cost me money! lol

If i had another truck for work i would pop out the back window. but unfortunatly this is my work truck and the bed stays occupied with tools and safly gear.

I did manage to hit a freak 141@42 on music windows down. couldnt repeat it though.

the Re-RE-Rebuild :fing34:

Actually who did you get to help you with your design i know i have asked before but i cant find it again.

I am just looking to add a external port to my box and dont know how to calculate it- i think it would be alot better than sealed

WAs thinking around tuning it around 37-42 somewhere not sure

wont be able to get exact because of the fiber glass bottom i just know it is about 1.45 after displacement maybe a little more or less

Ill be watching your rebuild you do some great work :peepwall:
