I am new to the car audio scene, and I would like to get the best bang for my buck, but I also want to "go big".

I Have never seen an 18" subwoofer box before let alone an 18" subwoofer irl.

I know they are pretty big, I want to know the standard ported box recommendations for an SSD 18, and if that box will fit in my 1990 jeep YJ with the back seats out.

Help from you experienced set of guys would be very greatly appreciated!

In my tj: width from fenderwell to fenderwell it's 33.5" and from behind driver seat to tailgate it's 35" (but won't leave you space for extra batteries or storage)

Just depends on how much room your willing to lose

33.5" wide, 25" depth, and 20" tall? comes to about 8 cubes before displacement and ports
