I know my local home depot usually has buy one get one free.Great stuff... is well great stuffyes point and shootMake a beauty panel then foam all around thatAcetone will remove the resiude.. but pretty much anything you don't want foamed either tape it off or use alum foil.If you want it 100% sealed, i haven't seen anything better.Make sure you seal everything ,even the rear speakers (if you have them) most of all WEAR GLOVES!
December 31, 201014 yr Author 7 i never thought of thanks! panel sounds like a awesome idea!! See I knew I came to the right place to ask! and when I get this done (next year) i will post some pics.also does anyone know off hand how to pretty it up? just slap a piece of carpet over it all and call it done?
December 31, 201014 yr Do NOT do that!!!!!!!!!!!!Unless this is a POS car that you don't give a shit about and you never plan on removing the enclosure, do not use expanding foam. Use fiberglass.
December 31, 201014 yr Author ya didn't think about that as in removing the box from the car... fiber glass you say sounds like a lot of fun although on the other hand this car has 360,000km about 224,000miles on it so it is getting ready to die...i don't know fiber glass sounds a bit better now. I will think about this over the break. thanks for bring up the alternative Tirefryr
