i currently am running a 15" fi bl on a saz-1000d in a ported box facing up in a trunk. i was looking into getting either a single 10 or 12 or maybe 2 10's to replace the 15 and still run the saz-1000d so i can face the subs toward the rear and free up some trunk space since my current box pretty much uses up the whole trunk in my grand prix. all sugestions are welcome i dont really have a set budget just want something matched with my amp and was wondering what you all feel might be the best fit.

There's only about a million choices out there to fit that bill, lol. I would highly recommend the Fi SSD's, perhaps the X's at 2ohm, lots of people love the SA-10's, a pair of DCONS at 2ohms would be nice too, DC level 2's or 3's, IA 187's. Those would be the first one's on the list that I would personally look at first. A single 12 in the SSD's, SA's, ICON's and other's wouldn't be a bad way to go either but the pair of 10's would yield a fair amount more cone area in about the same enclosure size as one 12 would use so I think a pair of 10's would be the best bet IMHO. There's so many possibilities out there that your budget and preference will be the limiting and deciding factors I think.

If you were thinking of some 10's these might be something to think about. Kevin said in this thread they will be up for presale soon and you may be able to catch them at a good price. The 12's he already has out seem to be doin rather well. Just a thought...

Although they would be slightly underpowered, Im sure to SSD 10s would sound great and take up less room than the bl. You may also want to take a look at SA-10s and Lethal Injection 10s. All three options are quality drivers, will sound great and give you some more space in your trunk.

+1 for SA10's.

thanks for all the suggestions i think im pretty sure what i want to do now. im mostly set on a set of 10" dcons after reading more about them they seem to be just what im looking for. im just wondering if anyone who has experience with dcon's could chime in on a suggestion of ported or sealed for these cause im hearing mixed views.
