It has 4 gauge inputs... I know its not a huge deal but I wanted to use 0 gauge with it.

I know stinger makes 4 gauge to 0 gauge adapters but the way the inputs are on the amp those adapters won't work.

Would it be ok to just trim the 0 gauge down or should I just get a 4 gauge amp kit?

It sucks that the adapters dont work. There are some guys on here who will telll you not to trim but, in my opinion, triming down 0 gauge is much better than running 4 gauge power and ground cables.

Trim it !

You can use a distribution block with 0 ga input and 4 ga outputs.

theres nothing bad about trimming down. just make sure not to have any frays.

Nice nice, appreciate the help. I'm not trying to push the amp to it's limits. Just want to go the safest route.

If I was going to trim I would also heatshrink the end tight

I would just trim it carefully and heatshrink that sucka
