I have a question. I have been reading that Sundown has two positive terminals hooked up parallel and two negative terminals that are hooked up in parallel. Which has lead me to be confused.

(2) JL W7 13.5 (1500Wrms) DVC 1.5 ohm

If I wire the woofers as so:

And hook just one lead (+) to one (+) terminal on the amp

and hook one lead (-) to one (-) terminal on the amp

I should come out with 1.5 ohms and approximately 2625Wrms right? (and of course more power since they are underated)

And secondly can I just hook it up to one lead and come out with the full power range?

Nothing? :ehh: I mean honestly I could just test it out with a voltameter once its installed but I'd rather not....the box is heavy stuff if I'm wrong. ^_^

What I read said they cannot be bridged, which mainly what confused me.

dude whats with the font? :ehh:

Btw, you can wire each driver to its own terminal at 3 ohms a piece and the amp will drop the impedance internally to 1.5 ohms.

its a mono block.... so the two - and the two +'s are the same ....

Two DVC-1.5 woofers in series / parallel is in fact 1.5 final load -- you are correct.

Lol. Sorry. I'm taking a Microsoft Office 07 class in college, fancy font is becoming a habit.

Yeh I see what your saying now.... :peepwall:
