Posted April 14, 201114 yr So today I was in a HURRY to get to school, ya i know school, well one of the 2 lanes I was on was closing so I popped into the other lane which wasn't being closed due to street painting and to my surprise the dude in front of me slams his brakes on and I couldn't get out of the way fast enough. His story was he was turning into his lane-way, well turns out he was and i guess he had to stop to do it? at any rate here is the goods!2- lights1- power steering tank1-front fender1-hood (kinda)1- 90degree fitting attaching coolant jug to rad!and ya this is my dad's car, my car was getting new tires/wheel bearings!and if you are wondering about the truck well I turned his rotted bumper into a pile of rust!! hell i couldn't even break his damn rear lights! i guess my car dove under his truck! o and he wouldn't let me take a pic of his truck hell i wanted to but then I guess I was also a bit embarrassed as i did not do that much damage to his truck. longer story short everything is on hold for a bit till i can fix this up. but in summary take your time, I know I will from now on o and if you are wondering i actually was about 1.5hours late for class lol! plus i got a 110$ ticker for unsafe lane change! good times and 2 points! I guess I got lucky today because my licsense expired 2 days ago and I forgot to get a new one and that would have cost me 350$ fine! plus I got lucky on the tow truck ride he cut me a 100 off deal because i was broke! lol!
April 14, 201114 yr That blows, Since you didn't mention getting hurt, I'll assume your alright Sucks about the tickets and points. Is your insurance going to cover the repair costs?
April 14, 201114 yr Author ya I am fine and so was the other guy, thanks for asking I forgot to mention that above. as for insurance his trucks bumper is covered as for my dad's car (ya dad's car) he will most likely just put a new fender, and lights on it and a power steering pump and be done with it, and he will use a big hammer to fix the hood lol! as for my insurance i have a clean slate so this will be the first! i hope I don't get screwed to much on this BS, fricking school never go to school all you young guys out there it is BAD LMAO! jk! just pay more attention, I know I will be.

April 14, 201114 yr You have structural damage. The fender apron is bent and core support is damaged. If you can get a fender and light assembly on that using just a hammer, you are my hero!
