Posted April 28, 201114 yr http://ampguts.com/forum/atomic-36/atomic-5000-1d-1901/Same board as a couple other amps, RD, Cactusblew a fet or 2 or 3 lol.Got all the screws out and cant pull this board out, its like wedged in or something.and the heatsinks look like they have to be bent up, but if i bend them up not sure if they are going to be able to bend back down.
April 28, 201114 yr You've got the screws out of the transistors that screw into the case? If so it should just slide out one side or the other. It doesn't lift out, I don't think
April 28, 201114 yr You need to unclip the clips which hold the transistors in. They have a small key-hole in them, pry them out with a screwdriver. When reinstalling the clips, a hammer works nice.

Sorry for the bad advice. I had to look harder at the pics (those ampguts pics pretty much sucks) to notice they were actually clips and not screws.Maybe I need to go get my eyes checked again. I don't know

It will lift up the part of the clip which is secured in the heatsink.
