So after finally getting the money together I'm beginning the build on my 1994 Ranger. My Wires came in yesterday. And my amp and sub stuff should be coming in tomorrow. Without further a due. Pictures of wires:

Everything looks good so far. What are your goals for this system? Doing anything for the front stage?

Only goal is bass guys. lol. I have decent speakers from factory. And go by ear on the mids and highs. Kinda broke right now. And i'm really iffy on the recone. First one. In the pit of my gut I feel like i fucked something up and its not gonna work. But idk. Its my first recone. and first time feelin a fresh coned sub. So idk how its supposed to feel. Know its gonna be tight for a while til break in. But we'll see. May get hardrock over tomorrow sometime to test the sub and amp in his car since I havent gotten the wires put in.

And sorry for the lack of pics in this update. I went to my garage to do the removal of the old CA and to glue on the new cone. Then got trapped by a massive down pour out of nowhere. Then I was finished. Then worked on my 4wheeler which is finally running after like a year. lol.

Now I know i've been keepin you guys waitin quite a while.

So for starters pics of the recone as it was happening.

After that i got trapped in my garage by a rain storm and didnt have my camera. So next we have after i got the recone in and done.

Next I finally decided i'd solder my whole wiring harness for the HU. (Clarion FZ409)

After many many wires. Done.

Head Unit back in. Off.

After all that I started Runnin wires. Now i know i didnt take a million pics like i wanted to. lol. But heres what i got. in order of how they went.

So Good buy old stock Ford Battery Terminal.

Hello new KnuKonceptz Battery terminal.

4gauge wire in place.

Right through the supplied Grommet which i thought was gonna be a bitch. lol. Actually quite easy to use.

And Boom Wires in Muh Cab!!

Already had the RCA's and the Remote wire in place earlier. Forgot to snap some shots of it goin in.

Now Me and HardRock decided to Rig up this lil "bench test".

Oh. An one more thing. yes. the sub has coil rock. You can perfectly hear the coil rubbing on the motor.

But. FI said itd be fine to bump it as it til i get the new ReCone in. So its goin in for a while on low power.

Another update!! Twice in one dayy?! A Machine!

for Starters. Some wiring.

So i knew I was gonna need some sort of false floor. So i made these lil foot things. Which arent even attached to the box. Its just sittin on them. And it hasn't moved more than a half an inch.

Got the box in finally.

Fits back there perfectly. Even though this box was designed for HardRocks Grand Am. lol.

And one from out the lil slider.

Damn that was a close fit. But we're good!

and thats it for now. Stay tuned! still have to do the big 3. Waiting on ring terminals. And gonna throw in a nice lil voltmeter i picked up off ebay for a good price.
