hey guyz..... got a question. i had planned on running 4 awg from the battery terminal down to the fuse and then on the other end of the fuse continue with 4 awg and then put a distribution block. then run 4 awg to the other amps from the block. is this ok? or no?

running 4 amps, all the same gauge wire

kinda think you should be running 1/0 awg wiring from the battery terminal to the distro block...

thanks for replying man. so i should run 0 from the battery to the block and then the 4 awg to the amps. would that work?

Win your using a D-Block, you never go from the same size to the same size, or go from the same size to a bigger size.

Example, if you were to use 4 gauge before the D-Block, then you would have to use anything smaller than 4 gauge after the D-Block. So lets say you wanted to power two amps for yous mids/highs, and they take 4 gauge wiring. You would use 2 gauge, 1 gauge, or 1/0 gauge etc etc...

I hope this makes sense.
