My buddy just Bought a pair of nightshades and noticed the z series have the same wattage but are cheaper so obviously the nightshades are better but in what way? SpL?

Are the z series more for SQ? what's the difference physically about them? For everyday pounding and not competition, what would you recommend? Thanks.

Marcus G

The Nightshade can handle more power, and has more linear displacement capabilities, in theory it is more loud.

The Z v.3 will be 1500-watts RMS

Sundownz I just sent you an email

Hey Sundown I "heard" That The Mags and theZs would be about the same in output with the same power to both subs, is this true or is someone blowing smoke up my .........?

The Z v.1 was pretty similar to the Mag v.3 15" -- the v.2 departs a good bit from that.

So should I go with The Z v2s or waait on the v3s if I`m looking for MORE output?

Zv.2 motors are all sold out and the Zv.3 should be in by mid to late July. As far as output goes there will not be a big difference between the two versions.
