Posted July 10, 201114 yr My subs been "rattling" for a bit and finally went back there to listen to it and it sounds like this:http://imageshack.us/clip/my-videos/193/sdm.mp4/Obviously it was playing at low volume, and I held the cam so close because I wasn't sure if my phone could pick it up as well as it did lol. Does it need a re-cone already or what? Ive had it for about a month, maybe less. Edited July 10, 201114 yr by yitzac1990

July 11, 201114 yr Author amazing goop.lol is that seriously what its called? can I get it at Wal-mart? Edited July 11, 201114 yr by yitzac1990
July 11, 201114 yr Just get any 5 or 10 minute epoxy.LocTight or similar. Walmart, Lowes, Home Depot, auto parts store, you get the idea.
July 11, 201114 yr What sub do you have? Also, box size and tuning if ported.Usually under normal coniditions dustcap glue joints rarely fail. Just want to try and help to ensure this doesn't happen again. Also, I recommend 5-10 min epoxy also. I usually buy clear Permatex(brand name), this can be found at almost anywhere.Color doesn't matter, but for a dustcap, clear would be best.Just make sure you don't get confused with "ton" type epoxy. This is not the same, and doesn't work near as well. Example, 2ton. Stay away from it. Stick with min.
July 11, 201114 yr Author Thanks for all the help. Its a 12" Fi BTL. Box is built exactly to Fi's cut sheets tuned to 32 hz. Didn't think this would happen to an Fi...
