It was not going to do much anyway, your alt is not capable of producing anywhere near the power you need. You might notice significant voltage drop even with another alt.

You shouldn't be dropping that much. I'm running 13kw and not dropping nearly as much as that on a 270XP. Please check for belt slip and all of your connections. If you're getting 11.9 at 2,000 RPMs something really isn't right or those amps are very inefficient.

I'll run 1/0 from the front battery to the back ,check all my connections and belt slip

Check everything, added some 1/0 runs .14.2v in front ,14.0 in the back , lowest 12.4 thanks for all the help
