If it's in good condition, I'd be all over it.

While its a tremendously great driver, I'd be worried it isn't geared toward your goals. It will pretty much be on the complete opposite end of the spectrum from your HCCA.

ya the more i think about it, i was sq.. tho the hcca (in my eyes) has great sq but is a tad on the spl side more. but if i had 2 of these 15's..... lol

I agree with Bromo. I don't think it really fits your goals and just adding two isn't really a good solution. If you liked the sound of the HCCA and want more output the Flatlyne just doesn't seem to fit the bill to me.

do u guys think 2 of these will get atleast decently loud? they will both be in 3cf ported boxes. each sub will be getting rms power

Dont buy something if your not going to use it for its intended purpose, asking if they will get loud means you shouldnt buy them if thats what your worried about. You buy stuff to meet your goals, not just to be buying it but its your money.

Off topic but, will those hccas really take 5k watts?

i have mine on 1800 watts and its laughing at it. on youtube, there plenty of videos that show hcca's taking 4000+ watts a piece. my hcca doesnt flex much and its hella loud. i wish i could afford a kicker zx2500.1 or something of that power to throw to my 1 12.

iv never heard a flatlyne in person (or any IA equipment for a fact) in person. thats y i was asking. im not to worried about it considering there $340 a piece lol

This. It's just not a good idea to use a sub outside of its intended purpose. You'll be much happier buying something that is better suited towards your goals
