Posted October 14, 201113 yr I am ready to buy enclosure design software, I want all the features available. I am thinking of buying Term-Pak. With Term-Pak I can later purchase Term-LAB meter as well. Term-Pak includes Term-Pro and Term-CAD 3D. Is this the best that is available? It looks like it was written in the early 90's.
October 14, 201113 yr "best" is relative. Either way its the operator that makes the difference. Why not just stick with Win ISD?

I have spent a couple hours with it. What I am really interested in is being able to plot SPL with a given power (I know a vehicle's cabin dynamics change that), driver x-max with given power and port velocity. I would also like to be able to design enclosures with cut sheets the easy way with a program. From my limited experience with WinISD I have not been able to do this. WinISD does basic plotting, I am ready for more.
October 14, 201113 yr Winisd does everything but cut sheets. those are better done by hand in general anyways
October 14, 201113 yr Author I know Trevor (Thumpper) at Pound That Sound uses that program and loves it.I saw his work. Good to know it works for him.Look into leap.Wow. Leap EnclosureShop is $795 Winisd does everything but cut sheets. those are better done by hand in general anywaysI have not been able to view excursion using WinISD. Am I missing something?

October 15, 201113 yr FWIW, I also use Unibox a lot. It's GUI is terrible as it's simply an Excel spreadsheet, but I like it a little better than WinISD for a little bit quicker looks at things (driver input, for example, IMO is a lot easier in Unibox). From what I've heard it can also be more accurate than WinISD but I've never taken the time to compare them.

I clearly need to invest more time with WinISD
October 15, 201113 yr I've downloaded many versions of winisd and all of them were capable of that. Can't remember .44 atm and don't currently have it installed to check
