November 29, 201113 yr Author yea the w6 is a great sub! my boy had 1 in his ranger and my other had 2 w7s they sound sooooooooooooooooooo good! great company. even they w3s are good iv heard 4 on them is the all plastic saturn i was pretty impressed.The W6 was way louder than I thought is was going to be, and with the detail it sounds like a concert in my car now. They have a new fan/nuthugger lol

November 29, 201113 yr I don't like their 1w/1$ methodology when it comes to Amps. They make awesome subs but IMO there are some better price point alternatives. Their design of the subs are awesome but meh.

I think so too but I have to build up my electrical in my car and add a lot of deadener to my car before I can jump at a mayhem lol

Their design of the subs are awesome but meh.I agree with that on the amps if I wanted to pay 1k for an amp I would get a SAZ 3500 or a Crescendo 5500 instead of a JL 1000/1. November 29, 201113 yr My last system consisted of 4 13w7s and they were crystal clear and got pretty loud considering they were only on about half power. Im just not a fan of the price and the problems ppl had with the surrounds on the W7s

November 29, 201113 yr i have heard stories about how they would crack now to be honest i didnt know these people they were on some other forums. I dont know how they cared for their equipment just what i heard. I had my 4 13w7s for over a year and had no problem amazing clean sound with decent output. Just wasnt feeling the price i still have the woofers might post them for sale once i reach the 25 post limit if my friend doesnt come through

Back in high school I had a pair of their lower line 12's (W0, maybe ) in a crappy sealed truck box in my pickup and it felt like someone was smacking you in the chest while sounding pretty darn good. If I had the money I wouldn't hesitate to run any JL sub. I'd love to try out a W7 one of these days.

They're very good drivers and I think they get a bad rap because of their price. If you look on CL and get one used they're worth it
