Posted December 3, 201113 yr I just picked up a Alpine MRD-M1000 mono block for $100 today and need help setting it up. I downloaded the manual offline but its not very help full. Its pushing 2 Earthquake DBX10 in a ported box. Each dbx is in a 1.75cu.ft tuned at 33 hertz. Some of the setting I did today are:input 2chgain +6dbLPF 80 hertz SUB 25 hertz I have been looking online for answers but having a hard time finding anything helpful. Any help would be great, thanks.
December 3, 201113 yr Author I'm not sure on the other setting? Or what they are used for, never had a amp with this may setting. lol Also my deck has 2 volts re-out would a 4 volt pre-out be better? I have a PG PLD-1 sitting in my closet could I use that to make my 2 volt pre-out 4 volts?1-1 Input : 2ch1-2 Input Level : 0db1-3 Gain Factor : 6db2-1 LP On\Off :On2-2 Frequency :80hz3-1 Subsonic On/Off :On3-2 Frequency :25hz4-1 Parametric EQ On\Off 4-2 Frequency : 4-3 Width Q. :4-4 Level :5-1 Bass Compensation On\Off 5-2 Mode :N\A6-1 Time Compensation On\Off 6-2 Delay Time :N\A7-1 Phase :0\1808-1 Amp Set ID No. :18-2 Time Of Delay :1.09-1 Output Disable :Off0-1 Memory Write :Hopefully Correct Settings!! 0-2 Memory Read :Hopefully Correct Settings!! I have a PG PLD-1 sitting in my closet could I use that to make my 2 volt pre-out 4 volts? No, the preamp voltage isn't that important. Set the gain properly and the 2V will be fine.I would help with the settings but I'm not really sure where to start as I'm not sure exactly on your question or where your confused.

I'll post the setting I came up with in a couples of mins after I go and right them down.
December 7, 201113 yr Author Sorry for not reply right away we are expecting a baby and the due date was Dec 5 and we are still waiting on the little guy to come. But this is what I came up with so far, all the bass on the deck is at 01-1 Input : 2ch1-2 Input Level : -6db1-3 Gain Factor :+ 6db2-1 LP On\Off : On2-2 Frequency : 80hz3-1 Subsonic On/Off : On3-2 Frequency : 25hz4-1 Parametric EQ On4-2 Frequency : 50hz4-3 Width Q. : 0.54-4 Level : +8db5-1 Bass Compensation: Off 5-2 Mode :N\A6-1 Time Compensation: Off 6-2 Delay Time :N\A7-1 Phase :0\180: 08-1 Amp Set ID No. :18-2 Time Of Delay :1.09-1 Output Disable :Off0-1 Memory Write :no0-2 Memory Read :noIt sound pretty loud and good tight bass. I'm happy with the $100 I spent on this amp. Edited December 7, 201113 yr by Robertjr79
