I just picked up a Alpine MRD-M1000 mono block for $100 today and need help setting it up. I downloaded the manual offline but its not very help full.

Its pushing 2 Earthquake DBX10 in a ported box. Each dbx is in a 1.75cu.ft tuned at 33 hertz.

Some of the setting I did today are:

input 2ch

gain +6db

LPF 80 hertz

SUB 25 hertz

I have been looking online for answers but having a hard time finding anything helpful.

Any help would be great, thanks.

No, the preamp voltage isn't that important. Set the gain properly and the 2V will be fine.

I would help with the settings but I'm not really sure where to start as I'm not sure exactly on your question or where your confused.

I wasn't sure on what the other setting did, but I did more searching on line and found more info. I'll post the setting I came up with in a couples of mins after I go and right them down.

4-1 Parametric EQ On

4-2 Frequency : 50hz

4-3 Width Q. : 0.5

4-4 Level : +8db

5-1 Bass Compensation: Off

5-2 Mode :N\A

6-1 Time Compensation: Off

6-2 Delay Time :N\A

7-1 Phase :0\180: 0

8-1 Amp Set ID No. :1

8-2 Time Of Delay :1.0

9-1 Output Disable :Off

0-1 Memory Write :no

0-2 Memory Read :no

It sound pretty loud and good tight bass. I'm happy with the $100 I spent on this amp.
