Looking to get a new 15" sub to replace my 2 SA-12's. I am very pleased with them, but i am just wanting to try something new and have been itching to build a new box lol. Looking for sound quality over anything else. Price range is around $200. Will be most likely going in a ported box in the trunk of my altima.

Just wanting some suggestions of good quality 15" subs in my price range.

Thanks in advance!

  • How about a DCON? Would be an excellent choice. http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/store/categories/Sub-Woofers/SoundSolutionsAudio/

Are you going to put it in a ported or sealed box?

Ssa icon is a little out of your budget, but worth it.

Also check out the fi q.

Isnt the FI Q 15" like $300? If so idk if i wanna spend that much on it...

Are you really looking for an SQ woofer? Or just one that doesn't sound bad?

Valid point, considering most subwoofers can sound good, and the enclosure will be the bigger factor.

You guys are like in the same swamp area right? You could show him a few things. :gayhaaay1:

Apparently so, I'm mobile so had to switch to "Desktop View" to see his location. But yes, we should be close. :)

200 is enough for a used sub. icon, ssd, bl, etc. i dont think a q is what your looking for.

Yes I want a quality sub, I have no care for spl right now. Don't worry ab the build of the enclosure it will be taken care of I guarantee. Basically asking for the best sq 15 around 200 bucks.

Mine sound great right now I don't have a problem with them. I just want to try a 15 and explore different subs pretty much.

Are you running a Sound Quality front stage now ??

What kind of amplification you have in mind of running ??

Check out the Dayton Audio 15" HO. Dayton Audio is an excellent value.

DCON if your on a budget and using low power!

Great sq!

I kinda want to get a crescendo amp and try that out and I'll get whatever power i need to fit the sub.

Of course its good for the price. SSA wouldn't even sell it if it wasn't top for its price range and class.

Where at on Airline. I'm in Jefferson as I type lol.

I live out in Central, just say BR to make it easy.

Yea I got ya I'm right where airline goes under the interstate lol.

And the dcon 15" is only 300w rms and that's kinda pushin me away. Right now I'm running a shitty hifonics 1200w amp but it lasted longer than my sundown 1200 lmao.
