Finally got both 18"s installed in the PT now. Running off a single Digital Designs M3a @.5ohm. Barely tickling them.

They get SOOO low, and sound amazing on everything. Plays every note so well. I am very happy, even with this low power.

14^3 box, 270^2 of port, 40Hz tune.

It's because the port is so large, it's very efficient.

Most people, when they do "big port" do them 100% wrong. So a lot of people think ALL big ports are peaky, only play high notes, and sound bad. When all this is far from the truth.

So even with a high tune, you say you still have good response with the lower notes?? Hmmmmm, maybe because such a small cabin? Or????

It's because the port is so large, it's very efficient.
