Posted December 31, 201113 yr Finally got both 18"s installed in the PT now. Running off a single Digital Designs M3a @.5ohm. Barely tickling them. They get SOOO low, and sound amazing on everything. Plays every note so well. I am very happy, even with this low power.14^3 box, 270^2 of port, 40Hz tune.152.2db @39Hz
December 31, 201113 yr So even with a high tune, you say you still have good response with the lower notes?? Hmmmmm, maybe because such a small cabin? Or????
December 31, 201113 yr Author So even with a high tune, you say you still have good response with the lower notes?? Hmmmmm, maybe because such a small cabin? Or????It's because the port is so large, it's very efficient. Most people, when they do "big port" do them 100% wrong. So a lot of people think ALL big ports are peaky, only play high notes, and sound bad. When all this is far from the truth.
