Right now I have, one Rl-p running 1000 watts, and even though it hits really nice, I think I am missing something, the sq is nice, but I think is still a little weak as far as lows go. People from outside the car dont even know the sub is nice. Dont get me wrong, I dont want to show off, but I want to know if is normal of the Rl-p. I have a sealed box, 1.25cf. Also I would like to know if I would see a big difference by adding another 12, Would it be night and day difference? :+1: What do you guys suggest to run if I want lows, is better to run a ported box if I have 2 subs, and if yes what size should it be?

People outside of the vehicle aren't suppose to hear it...

Port the single sub.

silly clown, welcome to the forum,

as a few other RL-p owners said, port the RL-p, with that power it will really come alive, if you have the space 2 cubes, and if you want to keep strong output Mike reccomends 34hz,

I tuned a little lower, but that is personal preference, if you need help with the box there are a few memebers here who are very good at box design

Port it and then mount it on the outside of your car for everyones enjoyment, or just port it to kick up the db's on the inside for yourself.

Thanks for that one....now I have sprite and boogers all over my keyboard and my head feels like I almost drowned......
