Howzit going guys, I had a question on how much power would i need for "daily use" . I dont care about db levels or that kind of stuff, just something fun to listen too. I was wondering if 700watts would be good for a fun daily system

need more info.

Give us as much info on the sub as possible, and amp if possible.

Is it the dual 2 ohm or the dual 4 ohms sa-10?

Is that 700 watts rms or peak? and at what ohm?

Its the dual 4 sa-10, and the amp is a Soundstream stealth 1200D. The amp is rated at 700wrms at 2ohms

You wouldn't really notice much of a difference in terms of loudness from 700watts to 900watts; however, that doesn't mean switching amps in general will not change the sound or loudness.
