Posted January 5, 201213 yr I'm building this one to run Street class in MECA for the 2012 season. I have already begun the install and hope I can wrap it up very soon and begin testing. January 5, 201213 yr Author I know, it has taken me forever and I still didn't get many pictures. I will be redoing the doors so I will get more pics when I do.Gotta rip off the plastic and remove the old speaker.Next, I prepared to clean the surfaces I planned to apply dampener to. I used windex to wash and alcohol to remove any residue.Someone left me a jagged mess, i managed to get the roadkill in with only 1 cut!

January 5, 201213 yr Author Power cable coming through firewall and first set of RCAs.This piece of plastic tubing and the coat hanger made running wires a breeze.As you can see, I used them a lot. The tubing really helped after there were several wires running under the carpet.

January 5, 201213 yr Author That's Billy, he's got himself a nice dropped Silvy with a 4th order bandpass blowthrough housing a pair of DD 2512s, it's pretty impressive for the equipment he runs.

January 8, 201213 yr Author I'm glad you're enjoying them. A shot of the enclosure sans Billy.Another shot of it after adding the second baffle and a brace.Time to wire up the doors. Popped the rubber boot out of the cab/door and ran my coat hanger through.Got the wire through the boot.Pulled plenty of wire into the door and then popped the boot back in.
January 11, 201213 yr Author Shot of the finished enclosure, 'bout to wire up the subs and drop 'em in. If you look closely, you can see my old Alpine.Pulled the Alpine and stuck this in it's place. I needed usb, Alpine was cd only.
