Posted January 14, 201213 yr Admin Ok, I couldn't make this up! Where I live the Amish come to the store I live next door to on the weekends. What is different about this time, was it was right in the middle of a huge snow storm. I went out to show some Dubstep Transformers 2 to my son, and ran into some Amish Sled races! In the middle of downtown. So of course I followed them closely for miles lol.I'm making the youtube video to go with my story now

January 14, 201213 yr Were the sleds being pulled by horses? Well I don't think they were pulling the sleds themselves. The races wouldn't be very exciting.

January 14, 201213 yr That was great!! Who said you HAVE to have modern technology to have fun? lol... We have quite a few Amish around here too, really a pretty cool bunch of people if you get to know them. BTW I'm jealous of the snow you guys got, wish I had some of it to play in with the fourwheeler.

Yeah, we got a ton of snow, I've been out in my AWD SUV for the last few days blazing trails on unplowed roads Good times.
January 15, 201213 yr Why do your headlights seem so bright!! HID's from TRP Oh yea, i had.....uh.......forgot!! Lets just hope they can withstand the -50 degree weather this time!!
