Could remove the ashtray, cut a piece of MDF to the shape of the opening, then put the meters in that flush mounted. Finish the wood with paint to match your interior or something.

Heres a pic of the radio area. only thing u cant see is the ashtray which is below the radio pocket...

and no, i cant put them there as it would cover the trim piece to remove the radio.

i will probly do what shag said if no other light bulbs come on.

Hell yea man! SSA Wagon Crew??!

Yeah the volvo is under discussion as we speak.

Looking great!!!

How many volt meters are you going to run? And why more than one?

Probably to monitor voltage up front and at the amps.

good to see you got all the subs. time to start on the wall :)

Lol...you remind me of one of my good friends, "We'll figure it out when we get there bro," of course with the Kanye shrug right after.

But at the same time, things always seem to be clearer when you're staring at it vs. imaging it.

I had zero plan, just a vision when I built my wall.

Yea. Its easier that way. Got a plan now though. Made some cuts today... sucks not having a good table saw. So i will be redoing those. Also doing a false floor and box for a buddies Honda Prelude.

More progress tomorrow.

looking good. cant wait to see more progress :)

You've had the subs HOW LONG and still don't have them playing? Oh my fail!

:P JK. looking forward to the build on this. Should be interesting.

Ever think to put the volt meter a little lower than in the pic. and FG around it to form it to the ashtray?
