I need help with a box spec for my 2 Sundown Audio SA-15s. Its going into a Izusu Rodeo. My goal is to hit over 150db.

The box needs to be 6 to 8 cubic feet, port tuned to 35hz and max width is 41".

I looking for a box that i can use as a daily driver and for competitions.

I would appreciate the help.

Build, test and meter! Rinse and repeat as needed until goal is reached.

Need more info like amplifier power, electrical etc. etc.

what comps are you looking for , daily and comp both might not be within reach they often require different portarea and boxvolume and indeed as stated above; given power wil dictate those to a certain level

I'm going to to be running 2 SAX-1200 and that is what Sundown Audio suggested for me a box to do both daily and comps.

Good luck bro. I've never done any competitng but I'm interested to follow this to see where it goes. I have 2 SA15's right now myself.

Do you have access to a reliable meter such as a Term-Lab?

Abuddy of mine works at a stereo shop in town and i always meter it before a comp to get the highest SPL and change it back for daily driving afterwards.
