Im wanting to get a two 15" setup. Either Fi Q or Fi BL. Its gonna be an everyday setup. I just dont know which to get. Either one, I will get will be fully loaded and then the amp to go with it. It's going in a 2003 Chevy Trailblazer LT. And I know I'll have to upgrade all my electrical, but I don't know hardly anything about car audio so any help will be useful

The q is a sound quality driver, the bl is a get loud while still sounding good sub. If your looking to just be a loud daily stereo, hit up the bl. If your looking for amazing sq, get the q

Sound quality as in like the musical part of it?

Sound quality as in the quality of the sound it produces.

So which one will play the lows better?

That will depend on your install. Basically the box you put it in will determine its performance.

Lows like whats in Gucci mane songs and rap music. I guess also other bass instrumentals like "Bass I love you" and stuff like that. And as far as an amp goes, which ever one can be suggested for the best performance. I myself am not that crafty, so I'll probably take what I learn from here and have professionals at an audio shop build me a box, and help install it. But whatever is suggested to be the best for what I want is what I'll get. I'm not opposed to waiting and saving my money so I can have the best performance out of it all. And I'm aware I'm a "noob" at this, but everyone started learning somewhere right lol

If that is what you listen to then id definitely choose the BL.

Will I be able to fit 2 15s in the trailblazer? It's not an EXT.. and what amp?

We need your max dimensions to help as we don't all drive trailblazers. What is your budget for your amp?

Have to get them tomorrow it's already pretty dark out. But there's not really a set budget, I mean obviously I want some top of the line stuff but if I can go a cheaper route that'd be great. And what are some good alternators to get, and what batteries as well

bl's

I would think the Q's will hit the lower notes harder. Dont let anyone fool you, the Q's get brutally loud and do great getting beat on daily.

I heard two 18in BL's tuned at 28hz and my one 15Q hit the lows much more cleanly (mine is tuned to 29hz). Different installs different vehicles so I know that doesnt mean much but after hearing each sub and after owning a 15in Q and running a SAZ1500 on it for over a year know no way I would choose a BL over the Q.

If space were right, I'd do two Q 15s on 3 or 4k sealed. I kinda want 4 sealed on 5k in my explorer until I get a bigger truck

Ahh decisions, decisions.. I just don't know lol

i would only sugest the Q's if you are an advanced user... other wise, the BL is the only choice for you ... as it handles abuse like a champion, and offers everything you are looking for.

Um, not sure why you wanna start this build with no prior knowledge in CA. I'd suggest before making any purchases to do a ton of research on what kind of electrical you'll need for that setup.

But remember, you dont need thousands of watts of power to get your subs movin'!

I'd go with a BL, just because i like to get loud, but thats not everyone's preference.

I'd go with a BL, just because i like to get loud, but thats not everyone's preference.

He is not gonna go wrong with either choice! But this statement is very misleading. My preference is to get loud and low and I choose the Q and it was a very good choice.

Both subs are rated at 1500rms, Both are gonna beat the piss out of the vehicle. Flip a coin, with either choice if setup correctly it's gonna seriously pound.

I have 2 15" FI Qs, I had 1 in sealed box in my trunk off of 600 watts, it slammed and the quality was reallllly good. Then I got a second sub and put them in a 8 cube box walled tuned to 33hz running off a DD M3a. They hit the 38-45 hz super loud. I wish I would of tuned the box to 28hz. But they are great subs, I would get the BLs, if I had the knowledge I had now id have the BLs.
