  • Just ordered some Crescendo FT1 tweeters and a set of PWX 8in mids for the doors. They are on back order but the subs will take awhile anyway.

Crazy to see the body off like that.

Finally making some progress.

Box going back in was hell, had to take off the leather beauty panel cause we ripped it and I redid it, no biggie.

Box is massive

In and ready

Went ahead and deadened all doors but only took a pic of this one.

After lots of brain storming and not wanting to start on fiberglassing doors and realizing how huge those Crescendo 8's are I decided to pick up some Rockford Forsgate Punch Pro Audio 6.5's for the stock location. Also mounted the Ft1's off axis on doors near the mids. The mids are very nice and loud. After getting in all in and alot of EQ'ing running active I have to say that it sounds awesome. Its not perfect but it will suffice until I decide how I want to do door panels. I think I will sell the Crescendo 8's and buy another set of the Rockford pro audio mids, The are expensive but are very shallow and very well built. anyway here are a couple pics

I have the final 2 d3400's coming this week and I will be done fooling with this shit for a minute. Right now it is brutally loud and without the worry of voltage I will be happy. Maybe I can get it metered soon. It shouldnt have a problem going 152's I would think. For a box tuned low at 30 it slams

HOLY shit! That look crazy. You have that thing bolted down?

  • Author

Yeah, it's bolted to the back wall. It's scary to think that is behind me, lol. I'm gonna weigh the truck and see where she stands. I'm guessing 8500lbs

Okay man you have my dream truck time to give it back ;) hahaha but no seriously this thing is the boo bees. i love the rims and everything about that truck. The sound system is killer. diggin the stuff up front thoes rockfords are sick. but the build overall looks absolutely amazing and im extremely jealous. What kind of job do you have to afford all of this stuff? hahahahaha! but Happy Bumping keep it coming

First hair trick with the sp4's. My wife could care less about audio and I finally talked her into hearing what I have been working on. lol

Voltage is on the low side and when I get the other batteries in I can turn her up some but the SP4's are very impressive and much louder than my Q 18's.

Sorry for the shitty pics.

looks amazing swift!!!

Thanks!

Was a pure bitch wiring those other bats, I need longer 1/0 for the connecting runs. I had to attach them while they were under that floor, not easy!

lol... I complain about my wide open trunk.... I wish I didn't need a fcking spare tire... Would have more room for the enclosure and batteries.... FCKING hate that I need a spare !

Also, that enclosure makes me warm and fuzzy inside!!!

good shit man!

what I don't get though, is why do 18's look bigger in your big ass truck than 18's do in my little ass car :(

Very clean sir!

My 18's always get guessed to be 15's in my burban :/

Looks awesome! I love the way the subs look in the enclosure. I would love to play with some sp4's. SSA needs a 4" coil driver :peepwall:

Thanks guys! I love the new setup, sounds incredible, Had several bailouts already and subs not broken in yet,LOL... Voltage is alittle better with the extra batts but still could use a D3100 I think. Here are some daytime pics of everything,
