so my buddy is really cheap, hes not into heavy bass but does like a little bit, but like i said realy a big cheap sk8,

hes been looking on amazon at amps and subs/enclosures, hes been looking at Dual-Pyle-Pyramid-Boss-Lanzar-Planetaudio-Mtx-etc...(huno cheap stuff),

i told him to hold off give me a couple of days see what i can come up with,

he wants 12's but i thank he might go for some 10's, remember hes a cheap $#@, hes looking to spend around 200-250, again hes cheap

See what you can find. Look for a single sub, it will be cheaper than 2 !

$300 systems sound like $300 systems. You're not going to find anything good for that much. If you do, it would be a single sub that wasn't very loud. Maybe a couple of tens or something...

If you guys are willing to and can build the enclosure yourselves then an SSA DCON and a decent little amp to run it would fit the bill perfectly. I think you could get the sub, an amp, wiring and the materials needed to build the enclosure for about $250 to $300.

honestly theres not much a cheap person can do ill suggest save more money and get something good

Such as this:

15" SSA DCON D4 $140

MB Quart FX1.400 $80

KNU KCA 4AWG amp kit $27

Box building materials roughly $60

Total = $307

Given the enclosure is designed and built correctly it would be a fine first setup.

He could save $15 going with a 12 instead of the 15 or $25 with the 10. All things being equal the 15 will be louder tho so that's why I listed it.

Get two DCON twelves or a fifteen and a cheap audiopipe amp, and build your own box.

I have a 350rms amp at 4 ohms I could sell for 50+ shipping. Two channel amp so 4 ohms bridged. Soundstream PCX2.350

a fifteen will make it sound like he spent twice what he did on it

and is the box single double tripled, how thick is the material, facing what direction(vent/woofer)

please note that the only tools i have are, circle saw, jig saw, drill, cocking gun,Tape measure, chock line, triangle(rest of my tools are in storage)

i told him to order it as a D4 so the one can be loaded @2ohm(around 300-600 rms not sure what the actual output is) and hell still have the opption to get a 2nd D4 and the amp is 1ohm stable
