April 10, 201213 yr He wants 2 subs, an amp, a box, wiring for everything...for $250 ? Good luck !!!Unless he buys used, I can't see that happens easily.Classifieds, Craiglists,...etcSee what you can find. Look for a single sub, it will be cheaper than 2 !
April 10, 201213 yr $300 systems sound like $300 systems. You're not going to find anything good for that much. If you do, it would be a single sub that wasn't very loud. Maybe a couple of tens or something...
April 10, 201213 yr If you guys are willing to and can build the enclosure yourselves then an SSA DCON and a decent little amp to run it would fit the bill perfectly. I think you could get the sub, an amp, wiring and the materials needed to build the enclosure for about $250 to $300.
April 10, 201213 yr honestly theres not much a cheap person can do ill suggest save more money and get something good
April 10, 201213 yr Such as this:15" SSA DCON D4 $140MB Quart FX1.400 $80KNU KCA 4AWG amp kit $27Box building materials roughly $60Total = $307Given the enclosure is designed and built correctly it would be a fine first setup. He could save $15 going with a 12 instead of the 15 or $25 with the 10. All things being equal the 15 will be louder tho so that's why I listed it.
