I am looking at the DCON for a home theater setup. I am going to power it with a 300 watt plate amp, any thoughts? Box recomendations?

not sure if the dcon can play that low....movies are in the teens

It can, I would step up to a pretty large enclosure and adjust the port area a bit. The biggest consideration is to make sure you have it the driver and port loading properly.

As suggested above, look towards the larger enclosure side of things with tuning somewhat lower then what we suggest for car audio. There are a few people running Dcon's in home audio, but they don't post much that I know of. A few people can attest to the performance of the Dcon 15 sealed, if you wanted to go that route.

There are a number of older Icon's in home audio installs, Neil wrote a nice review. The Gcon is getting noticed by the home theater guys too.
