Hi guys :)

I just thought I would ask here to save Flakko from too many more of my Pms ;) :

XT-1600.2 / IS 2200:

Are these pretty much the same (internal wise)?

I keep being told by various people that the XT are brilliant but will not hold up like the other USamps will, do they mean that in a 'you can't play them in to lower loads than recommended as well', or is it a 'they are going to die on me before the other would under normal useage'?

MD22:

Hows comes they stopped this? Was there somethign wrong with the design? Is it worth spending the extra on the MD22 over the above XT if they're going to be under normal useage?

Oh and something in for the above models in general:

Do they have perspex bottoms or in the pics have the base just been removed?

Sorry for all the questions

You cant drop them down to crazy ohm loads.

No idea on the MD22

They have the bottoms removed in the pics, its a steel bottom.

I might be wrong but I thought flakko said something along the lines of the Merlin line getting some modifications
