December 10, 201212 yr It's funny you guys focused on one of the subs I ,mentioned. Having seen the vvx's used a few big builds down here, they did just fine. SSA makes good subs, but it's not the only subs out there. You guys act like they're the only subs people can use and everything else sucks. Its funny how you can comment on subs you haven't used and have only "seen used in big builds".Havoc = I was not very impressed by the driver, had good output but didn't wow me in any way.LMS-r = Great driver if you want to go sealed, didn't impress me in ported applications.Axis = Haven't used it but I have a LA Storm neo and it is a good driver surprisingly loud on low power, so if the AXIS is like the storm it should be a good driver but not for the price tag.ZVX = Haven't used and wont after the experience with the VVXDP = Haven't used, isn't my style of sub but have used IA products and one of theirs is one of my favorites.ICON = Good output low end is great.GCON = like the older ICON specs are very close, good output with good low end. What's funny is, the subs I use, you can't buy unless I sell them to someone. Or you build some yourself.Oh and it wasn't just "seen in big builds" God forbid I don't post up everything I do. But carry on since you're an expert in every driver ever made.Never claimed to be an expert but I have personally used and still have most of the drivers you listed or a variant of them. The VVX was the worst one. Don't get all butt hurt and then try to act high and mighty because you use franken woofers that you think are so special.

The word variant seems to be used quite excessively lately, which usually means squat. No butt hurt here either, since you're obviously upset about my woofers. No butt hurt hear either, since you're obviously upset about my woofers.Sign of being butt hurt.Trying to act high and mighty.Posting experiences, not acting high and mighty or butt hurt. Not upset about your woofers as they have no value to the discussion, but you somehow felt the need to bring up that you use woofers that are put together from miscellaneous parts.I have noted where the variant came into the situation, but it still doesn't change my feeling that the Axis isn't worth the 400+ dollar price tag.

I really don't understand why you're so upset. you and a few others with your continual negative attitude on here really hurts this forum. I already see other members posting elsewhere because of it. But for shits and giggles post up your builds with all these various drivers.

We're actually accepting applications here: [email protected] Edited December 10, 201212 yr by stefanhinote

If someone has a personal vendetta against a company, that's on them. It doesn't effect me either way... Edited December 10, 201212 yr by armykyle1
December 10, 201212 yr Same could be said about you.Pictures are already floating around.I'm not claiming I've used all those drivers. Most of the drivers I've used are in my build log. There might be one or two that's not. Other drivers I've had hands on with aren't in my build log, because it's not my build log. So I don't know what you're asking about...
December 10, 201212 yr Like the great Jackie Moon said, "E.L.E. Everybody Love Everybody!" hahahahI've personally used the Skar VVX's and I was not impressed.

December 11, 201212 yr does anyone have any expeirence with the american bass xfl 15s they look a little beefier than the sa'sLooks don't always equate to loudness. Some manufacturers use big motors as marketing ploy. Looks bigger and "beefier," so it must get louder.

December 12, 201212 yr Yeah I realize that but does anyone know if they are actually better or not?Better for what? The only way to tell what sub is the best in your particular application is to test them all, too many factors to decide. But im pretty sure most will say SSA subs are better, just how it is around here.SSA Icon > American Bass XFL > Sundown SA > Skar VVX
