I have a dcon 12 and plan to run it bridged with a Boston acoustics gt-2125 at 400w rms will that be too much it's a daily driver so I'm not gonna be pushing crazy hard all the time I plan to keep gain low and bass not so high

Shouldn't be a problem. Listen for stress or odd noises from the sub and pay attention if you smell a burning smell which comes from the glue holding the coil in place failing, but it highly unlikely either of those things will happen.

What do you mean clean signal ?? No clipping? I'm having a custom shop put it in an tune it all for me.

Tune it with a meter anyways I don have the resources to do it at home I understand how to do it but I think I'll be fine if I'm not killin it 24/7 I just want sq type install I'm not gonna try to beat the block apart, I want it to be a clean solid bass and I've heard of ppl giving them 500w rms. mine will be in a sealed box

Sealed is even better for power handling- the air trapped inside the box acts as a spring making it harder to damage it mechanically; thermally, it would be really hard to cook that sub unless the signal was really clipped, but it sound like crap and you would turn it down.

You'll be fine.

Additionally, clipping or "dirty" power has nothing to do with ruining your sub. It has never killed a subwoofer before, yours won't be any different.

Just like people said, listen, look and smell for signs of stress...

you will be fine, just know your limits.
