January 14, 201312 yr Author I've had these particular AP tweets before and while I agree they are not going to win any SQ competitions, they aren't bad for the money. Was planning on running Crescendo FT-1's, but they are out of stock.
January 14, 201312 yr Author Box Build:Port was supposed to be 5 1/4 high, but ended up being 5 3/8's when I built it. So here is the adjusted design.Build Pics:My daughter and nephew bein silly:

So I just decide to go with the Audiopipe APMB6DC's and matching tweets. $80 compared to $200 makes my pocket happier... Edited January 14, 201312 yr by PHATBOi

Thanks for checkin me out.Word, I am curious as to how these sound. This is like the 3rd time i've seen someone get these subs and they now have me intrigued enough to do a cheap 2 12" build and throw em on a couple thousand watts to see how they hold. I'll probably toss em on Craigslist and get my money back quick too.
January 14, 201312 yr Author Link to build log. He is about to swap the BC5500 for a Stetsom 7K.http://www.floridaspl.com/forums/showthread.php?t=24660
January 14, 201312 yr Author Just got a call from VVME, my subs and amp will ship out today! Mids, tweets, and voltmeter/fuse holder are in route. Believe my AP 4g is shipping today as well. Just waiting to hear from fixmyspeaker about the gaskets. Pickin up 2 rolls of Peel & Seal sometime this week to do the doors with.
January 14, 201312 yr Author Aight, changed my mind about the Peel & Seal. 25 Sq Ft fatmat Bulk Pack has been ordered.
January 14, 201312 yr Author Oh, and got my tracking number from fixmyspeaker for the 2 gaskets. Hoping to have everything by the end of the week and install this weekend.
January 15, 201312 yr Author Thank you. Yes, I if you are referring to the split by the port, they are being takin care of. There where a few frm the screws bein to close to the edge (even though I was using a pilot bit. I was squirtin some glue in them and clamping them till it dries. Worked pretty damn good, I just happened to miss that one.
