September 6, 201312 yr My manly Martha stewart progress for the evening. Need to pick up some larger grosgrain trim for the edges tomorrow.
September 6, 201312 yr 24oz Canvas. Very cool, we have those at work and they make life a lot easier.
September 6, 201312 yr I need to make something to hold all of my freaking sockets.. I thought about using some MDF and dowel rods and then a board on top to sandwhich them together.. dunno though.
September 6, 201312 yr Unlike wrench holders for me, they make a multitude of socket holders, ball bearing detent, steel spring clips, rotating, magnetic, etc, etc.
September 6, 201312 yr I want them for the tool bags in my truck, tired of digging through wrenches.Yep, that absolutely sucks. I keep meaning to do something similar for the snowmobile box as everything gets shaken to shit if it isn't strapped in REALLY well. In the one sled everything is packed in slots in foam, but the other stuffed in bags and I'd rather just have them rolled and velcro tied.
September 6, 201312 yr Unlike wrench holders for me, they make a multitude of socket holders, ball bearing detent, steel spring clips, rotating, magnetic, etc, etc. yeah I used the spring clips but the 3/8" sockets I have are far too heavy to stay secured.
September 6, 201312 yr I've got 3/4" webbing and side release clips to latch the roll after I get edging on it.
September 6, 201312 yr And fuck you Staples. The Nexus 7 I bought was a sick deal, but the fuckers screwed up the shipping so i won't get it until Monday My whole down time is now wasted. Took another $20 off it though, down to $140 for new 32gb lol

That's cause the metal spring clips really, really, suck. I'll take loose over those. For deep toolbox drawers, the Hansen trays work well, the ones from Menards aren't to bad really, I don't use them much but I like them.
September 6, 201312 yr I use the Hansen's or a cheap version of them from Northern Tool. Not sure if they are branded. Only beef I have is that they don't have 32nd's so I am always fumbling. Of course I don't really need those sockets, but since I have them...
September 6, 201312 yr The shafts are sometimes too fat on the ones I have too. At least for generic-o sockets.
September 6, 201312 yr Maybe it'll be at the local hub on Saturday and you can go pick it up.Ship to store. I "could" have had it shipped to the house originally too. Fuckers.

September 6, 201312 yr Put the new wheels on the 71, now it's looking like I want. Gonna drop it another couple inches though. Now it's ready to work on the sounds. Fiber glassing pods time I guess. No sub, just a good full sounding 6.5 component set I think.
