I've had a written warning for 6mph over, 71 in a 65.  

I got a 76 in a 55, I Got no warning I wasn't even asked why I was speeding he came up to me asked for my license/registration went back to his car and came back with a ticket. In NY Thats a $270 Fine then they charge you $100 a year for 3 years for an "assessment fee" Paid a lawyer $100, was reduced to failure to obey $50 ticket and I was a happy camper. I cant imagine being pulled over and given a warning for 6 Miles over though...

The state wants at least 5 years of higher education to offer the tax exempt, so I have to get a masters.

There lies the problem. The emissions were better before the aggressive and shit EGR systems. And thus better before DEF.

So you plan to reduce emissions by forcing everyone to add another tank, pump, hose, chamber in the exhaust, and fluid to add to the vehicle. Well how the fuck did you get the DEF to the trucks? In a package that had a carbon footprint and a truck hauled that DEF so there is more carbon footprints. You cannot tell me that the DEF system reduces more bad stuff than the process of making it, the systems in the truck that squirt it, and the transportation of the fluid itself and it's containers.

God damn psychopaths.

Oh I'm sure they spent a pretty penny. Thing is, they probably came up with several viable solutions, then presented these solutions to management. Management then runs cost-benefit analysis on each of the proposed solutions, and chooses the one that will benefit the company the most.

Nine times out of ten the solution they go with is the simple "band-aid" fix.

New York uses a points system and apparently the assessment fee is based on the points on your license

They're not forcing anyone to add anything. All they did was set the maximum level of emissions that can come out the tailpipe. How the manufacturers actually go about doing that is up to them.

I like to buy big bottles of soda, cause it's cheaper, but I hate it when it goes flat after a day or two.

From what I am reading the reason sodas go flat is that the CO2 in the bottle escapes. Every time you open it, a bit of Co2 goes out and after you put a cap it tries to make an equilibrium between the CO2 in the drink and in the air above it.

They're not forcing anyone to add anything. All they did was set the maximum level of emissions that can come out the tailpipe. How the manufacturers actually go about doing that is up to them.

#1 thank you for letting me know. I thought DEF was a government requirement. The fleet workers I k.ow use it and cannot imagine it is the cheepest way for them to continue passing the tests.

I will make myself the first type as the second one sounds like a fail. Even tho you pump air in it, you still loose some CO2 when you open to pour.

The top one will create no pressure to prevent the CO2 from leaving the soda. And entering the void. You would need a positive pressure. Number 2 is more feasible.

In either case store it in the fridge if you aren't.

Or get a carbonation system if you're a nut.

yes. You should really live here at least a year before buying. Get ready to hate the prices too. Starter homes are in the 300 range
