April 24, 20178 yr Sean i would love to bring them over. Running on a balanced XLR. From the pre out on my integra 5.6. If I can run them straight from the PC then ill be super happy. I will be able to bring the integra into the bedroom and then buy some high WAF speakers and a mini sub.
April 24, 20178 yr I cannot believe how amazing the midbas is. I really want to hear yours side by side Sean. It would be super fun.

It was getting heavy holding them at arms length to ear height for the whole first act of Carmina, but I won't have to invest time in my shoulders this week then. You have yours on armatures? I have some el cheapo monitor mounts that I bolted mine too

April 25, 20178 yr Dying to see where you aim/fire those. The Fountek's will surprise you if you can get them on axis. Pretty killer response all on their own. Definitely better than the L4 in that regard.

April 25, 20178 yr Pappa been smooth since days of underoos. <3 Finally someone explained why I love the hip hop.
April 25, 20178 yr I think it explained more why most hip hop is useless. If it all followed the breakdown she gave, I'd listen to more of it
April 26, 20178 yr It is funny to see the added complexity, but then you look at someone like Miles Davis who purposely plays things that are definitely not in the key just for that purpose while also doing the same rhythmic manuvers....and then realize he is doing it improve and can just make shit up like that in real time ANYTIME.
April 26, 20178 yr Of course I also understand if 99% of you reading this think Miles gives you a headache if you listen to him.

Jazz and hiphop remind me of the same thing. Its a conversation and sometimes gets funny. Doing this that shouldn't work. Those leftover notes, the things that go against the rules but work. If you ever heard a jazz song asking and answering, you get it. I don't enough about music theory.... The major take away here is don't marry a Kardashian and don't start a war with Russia.
