August 18, 20178 yr That LS swap thingy would be nice, we can get cheap RX8's here. The budget and administration department actually likes RX8's and was convinced to agree to the purchase of a Comanche for going off-road. So I assume that a V8 RX8 wouldn't be too much of a hassle to get approval.

Ah, I just remembered, the RX8 diff ratios are really high (numerically) so it would be interesting to see how an LS swap works. The Miata crowd goes for 3.6 and even lower for LS swaps. The RX8 has 4.77 IIRC.
