If you don't have any I would bet a few really well places staples would do it. Heat and vibrations make different materials move differently over time. That said.... probably ok?

March 5, 20187 yr @j-roadtatts We're you asking about joiners? Make a few of these and use soft brass tubing if you wanna get crazy. Save a ton on the joiner and the biscuits and it will be nearly tenon strong. I love inexpensive little easy tools.
