Lol At one time I picked up a Ford 289 with Hipo heads and loaded it in the back of a Nissan Hardbody Lowrider by myself..If I tried that now I would probably blow out a testicle.

June 15, 20187 yr Put my original 1500gti in the boat. Fits in the enclosure that the Xcon was stolen out of. Since they took the 1000w amp I am now powering it off the 2nd half of a 4000.4 Polk. Output is absurd.
June 15, 20187 yr Obviously not a low end machine, but for the time being it is free tunes. Stupid Alpine headunit makes me connect via bluetooth every time I power it on. I have it go completely dead though as my batteries shut off switch kills everything except the bilge pump.
June 15, 20187 yr If I had a bigger enclosure the low end would be way better....but I ain't got room for that.
June 15, 20187 yr I am all wired back up for an upgrade, but don't feel like buying atm. Either later this summer or next. Contemplating just putting one of my 12's in a new enclosure to buy myself some more leg room
June 15, 20187 yr I wish, but can't find the right compromise. Want the best fishing boat for my family that fits in my garage. If I can extend my garage 2" that would be this: or or or None are really fast. All close to 60mph with a 200hp on them. So not slow by any means, but I want the open space of a tiller. Really a toss up between the lot depending on the deal. I doubt the Yarcraft will fall my way, but the Ranger or Lund are rather likely. If I have to get a 19' instead of a 20' (boo engine restrictions and 40mph MAX) then it will be the Warrior. Will look for one that is grandfathered in with a larger motor.

June 15, 20187 yr Has to be older than 13 though otherwise max 90hp not 140hp. The 140hp is a detuned 175hp as well which means it is easy to kick it up a notch. Would RIP with a 175 on it.
June 15, 20187 yr Those are walleye boats with muskie platforms. Multi species. My old bass boat was a monster. Nearly 80mph
June 15, 20187 yr The boats I am looking at all have HP restrictions because there is no steering wheel. Something REALLY exciting about having a >4L v8 being completely controlled by your arm.
June 15, 20187 yr Restrictions of the coast guard are lifted at 20' which is why the first 4 all have 200hp+. Last one is the 19' with a 140.

Nearly 80mph ....I feel really dumb... what is the difference between boats in this context? I would have assumed lake fishing boats are all the same for catching different fish. How does the fish know???? ;-)

If you go past 20 can you have a more powerful outboard or is it just the steering wheel?
