Pool noodles are a lot cheaper than backing rod, for sure.

Fuck yeah!  I used to mark them out at Kmart at the end of the season for $.30 .

I love using them for shipping. Makes GREAT bracing.

Planted 1/4 acre of Mirai today

Send me a few bushels, please

It's different.  It doesn't have a typical sweet corn taste.  It keeps a nice crunch after it's cooked and sets in the fridge for a few days.  I wouldn't say its so sweet as they make it out to be on their site.  However it is sweet enough with a nice texture that you can eat it raw.  We have always grew a decent sized sweet corn crop in the spring.  We have used the typical bodacious, g90, ect and I prefer the Mirai by far in taste and texture.

Alternatively, companies sell small quantities of premixed product, such as Quikrete's Concrete Crack Seal:

Do NOT use on a vertical surface and on cracks larger than 1/4"  Here's another hint too.  If you have a deep crack, take one of those foam pool noodles and cut it to fit down in the crack before filling.  It will keep the filler from cracking and aid in expansion and contraction.

Talk to Ryan about concrete, he knows all about that shit.

So that crack filler has the same size limitations as sealant? Bummer.

Pretty much the only thing to use is injectable epoxy, but it's not cheap, and if you find it cheap, don't waste your money.

A pretty good epoxy you could find local is from Fastenal.  Its their Rock River 300 Plus 2 part epoxy, it is a rebranded Unitex ProPoxy 300 A-B Fast Set.  Its a 4000psi structural epoxy, good stuff.  Looks like our local Fastenal store sells it, if you can get them to sell the individual tube it is 40$ for an 8.5oz tube.  How much do you need?

Just finally read the prior page and see Peng doesn't need epoxy, more of a talk in theory.

My vote is get a competent person to look at it for you to find that basement leak, finding said competent person though isn't easy.  Water finds the funniest places to seep through.  We have a moist room that is 73*F and 100% RH at all times, basically a fog room.  To get the leaks to stop we let it dry for two months, lined the whole damn thing with FRP, caulked the hell out of stuff, and put stainless flashing going from wall to the floor and the floor is epoxy coated.  Haven't had a drop outside of those walls for 3 years now.

Googling I thought it was a type of watermelon, lol

We normally plant around 50 acres of melons every year. There area is known for its watermelons and cantaloupes

Finding out what life is like for these people who get more then 5 hours a sleep a night.

Try 90-100 hours a week for 4 months straight with only 6 days off.

Was doing the 80 hour weeks for 3 years straight, one week of vacation the entire time.  But what a vacation it was.

I get plenty of catch-up during the summer months. But winter when all the harvests are being sold are hell.

The typical boat is taking 10-25 million $ in cargo so there isn't any time for slacking on the job.

lol at an incoming SPL event. They are going to have a competition for low playing cars and will measure at 20 25 33 40Hz. Who the fuck listens to 20 ?

Who was it over in Europe that had a hatchback with SI Mags in it that was getting just stupid loud numbers at super low frequency, something all the way down to 15Hz maybe?  He posted here 3? years ago.

Some guy in the UK, MegaHeavyBass was his name. I believe he started a competition called propper droppers where they would measure 15-40Hz and average 5 measurements. To each their own I say !

I lost all my focus and motivation working today on the BMW. That fucking install fix went into a break over winter and I restarted last week. Worked the whole Saturday for the left door, the crap that was done is unimaginable. Burnt wires, no insulation (not even some tape), absolutely appalling.

Today I start to connect the A-pillar with gauges and none of the wiring made fucking sense. 3 different wires going through 3 different grommets in the engine bay? I mean really, you install 3 gauges and wire them like total crap.

And everything related to the air-ride suddenly stopped, right after I put the air-ride gauges and buttons back in place. I'm 90% sure what's wrong but it's under the false floor, under the enclosure. And the enclosure is a piece of crap, it takes TWO hours to put it back and align it with the cosmetic panel in the trunk, the guy who built it was probably drunk or stoned.

I'm fixing all the wiring I can this week, cashing the money for the work and FAREWELL! That thing is never going to drive in my garage again. Not even on my street.

That is exactly what they are calling it, Propper Dropper.
