April 23, 201312 yr I don't like soft tails...but I don't ride downhill either.They don't too often, but they do hammer a lot of technical stuff and completely ungroomed. I have never had a soft tail before.My size and weight makes me nervous to have one. When I was young I would bike along the river bottoms. I went through 4 cheep bike frames and then when I got a decent bike I ruined the seat omce a week. Makes me scared to invest anything into a nice frame.
