May 7, 201312 yr I have been to 3 stores and none had an open end wrench for the o2 sensor. I could get a closed one, however I didn't see one of those directly either.7/8"? You need a O2 sensor socket, flare nut wrench, or a crow foot.. A box end wrench will be easiest on his truck. Trust me, I just pulled them off mine two weeks ago. I shiver at remembering my Cadillac 02 sensors... Its a 7/8" wrench though isn't it, I've got like 5 in my tool box, O'Reillys, Napa, Sears, Menards, Home Depot, should all have one.
May 7, 201312 yr Took my last final at LSU ever! Feels a bit strange tbh, not sure whether to be excited or sad lolSweet. Have you applied anywhere yet, or going "now what?" Ya i applied to LSU new orleans medical school. I had the interview but they put me on the waiting list and i might not hear back until june. So im trying to be patient but its been tough haha
May 7, 201312 yr The president of GM NA says he wants "a really nice, light, rear-drive car that's inexpensive" in Chevy's lineup. Any bets on the name? I'm going with Corvair Saw it at the Detroit Auto show a few years ago, looks promising http://www.motortrend.com/auto_shows/detroit/2012/1201_2012_detroit_chevrolet_code_130r_concept/
May 7, 201312 yr I've been working my seats for a few days now, still not finished but could not resist not posting. Looking good so far
May 7, 201312 yr Adrian??? Apart from the gray hair, I think dad would be more suited for something like that. He even has a Stihl chainsaw
May 7, 201312 yr I always use a half inch drive socket with long handle wrench on stuff like that. I have seen way to many people ruin plugs and wheel studs with an impact wrench. Was the plug already rounded over? A foot long pipe over the handle can be a beautiful thing. Yep. I have a 90 degree solid 1/2" socket drive and that thing has seen big torque on backhoe nuts and bolts.
May 7, 201312 yr Got some knock er loose. Hope to handle that o2 sensor and wifes oil nut.I know on hardened stuff you need imact sockets.... but on an oil pan plug do you think I will be ok using regular sockets? It started rounding over and before I use the vice grips and a hammer I thought I could at least try it.Whatcha think guys?Hehehe... he said oil nut.I can't even move this SOB with a vice grip......I have snapOn's version of thishttp://www.toolking.com/performance-w84008-compact-oxygen-sensor-socket-wrench?CAWELAID=1803462577&catargetid=1436452153&cagpspn=pla&gclid=CNvx3YHhhLcCFdCZ4AodzFcAgQAwesome toolSpeaking of awesome tools...

Looks eerily similar to the BMW 1 series.

May 7, 201312 yr Admin Apparently when I reply to an email with something along the lines of this: The factory is a little backed up due to the huge spring rush. They are working as fast as they can with out sacrificing quality. As soon as we have an update, we will update your order status. It means email me back everyday asking the same question on order status.

May 7, 201312 yr I thik I need that crow foot socket doohicky.Box wrench didn't do shit. Unless I cut the wire and get the hoop side on there it was worthless.Got a shitty set of nice craftsman wrenches on sale though. Kinda cool multi head gripper gimic to it.If I cut the wire on that SOB and it stays stuck, will it be completely undrivable?
May 7, 201312 yr I am so crabby. For being owned by a mechanc......Rusty ass exhaust.Fuck. Maybe I should sell this thing once I get it going and spray the visible rust and buy something without rust.Maybe the frame will rot out and I will have to scrap it. You can't reinforce frames can you?
