Also, prednisone saved my life. I'm no longer walking funny.

Just wait till your emotions take over. :P

Seroquel will take care of that.

Finally back to benching my body weight and 8 times at that!

Still sore today and today is shoulder day. :(

Sean if you lower the big ugly will it hurt driving in the snow? Around here we drive in a couple inches before they get around to plowing at times.

So that all being said. What do I use for a base tune? ie, I swap my short block, cam/springs, bolt on a turbo and new exhaust and what do I flash to the ECU for the first time?

Have you tried contacting any of the major online tuning companies or did you want to do a dyno tune? I contacted sct for my mustang and it was tunes for life and a tuner for 4xx. Even when I was looking at a supercharger setup. They said they could do a pretty balls on accurate tune for 81/87/93 octane.
Blackbear will "rent" you a box for acquiring or sell you one so they tune to what you have. I just hadn't really ever thought about initial startup before. Was also too cheap to dyno my first car when I built it. Suppose it is the same. Fat and happy. Just didn't know if you could force the ECU to be smart and fat and happy.
Procharger includes a baseline tune you can run on but won't make a ton more power till you a actually get it dialed in more.

I mean when you get it all done you can just have the bof exhaust all boost then take it where ever you need to to get it tuned.

I know the kits include a baseline but they also expect no major changes in everything else. Since I am throwing that out the window it is custom time. Just don't understand how you start then.
I think you might be destined for a dyno only tune. Which can be ridiculous, a local dyno shop here quoted me 300 + 100 and hour and I had to buy my own tuner which is about 5xx or so.
Why not get a Hennesey upgrade? Some of the Hennesey camaros, corvettes, cts-v's are pretty badass
For $15k from Hennessey in an Escalade you get 550hp. I can do that for $3k. $15k will get me more than 1000.

I'd rock a Gallardo in the snow if it weren't for kids.

No thoughts of bagging it?e

And your lucky to get that from them. I wouldn't trust those asshats with a 5,000 foot pole. Do a search on them. There has been many installs especially on vipers where customers received head and cam work to find out stuff like factory head bolts had never been removed.

///M5 so how man horses will the escalade spproximatley be when finished?

I may know a thing or 2 about the industry ;)

Working sales at a Chevy dealership.

Stuck on the finance aspects of it. Wanting to ensure I can make proper cash without a real issue.

Depends on the volume. Salespeople at dealerships can make some nice coin, but it is cutthroat shit. I would expect to see ~10 cars a month per salesperson minimum, as it will be commission based sales. Not sure what the market is like down there, but in places like LA, MS, GA, etc. I would expect yankees to do poorly. Here in NC there are a lot of yankees, so northern salespeople do well, and I suspect with winter birds in FL you should expect them to be more used to yankee accents, and more comfortable with salespeople from NY. Being from WNY your accent will be moderate compared to MA, NYC, NJ, etc so buyers should be more forgiving.

The potential is there, but don't expect much help from fellow salespeople, and be sure the sales volume is acceptable.

Volume seems to be there, they have ample salespeople there, and a good location.

The yankee accent isn't too bad anymore. Certain words catch me up tho. I just want to make sure I can make what I am worth.

It may be one of the best times to be in the dealerships to me since Obama f'ed the used market and deals like the one above happen now.

Yeah, but financing is not as loose as it was just 5 years ago. The places making bigger money are the buy here/pay here poor credit lots like JD Byrider and Drivetime. Those salespeople are making $300 + per car with commissions climbing based on total sales, like 5 cars per month see $350 per, 7 per make it $400 per, etc. and it is all retroactive. The issue is, with slow months during the winter you may see 7 or 8 cars a month if you are a good salesman and your sales manager is being loose with financing. The concern with the dry lending market is that GMAC and other such financing outfits are less lenient. Not bad if you are in a better area, but with strong competition that will limit potential buyers.

I still get shit when I say things I don't think of, like motor, or car, or yard, etc. I have been away from WNY for ~25 years now... You may be like me and carry various accents from places you have lived, but under it all we are still yankees, and we sound like it to locals.

ZERO. Not lowering for looks, I could give a shit about that.

Yep. Figured the price difference was enough, asshattery is even better.
