Also as a nice little treat my right knee is swollen again.

I gave in and took a cyclobenzaprine aka flexeril aka I may be useless tomorrow.

This constant intensity in the morning, punctuated with near sleepless nights is pushing me to my near maximum limits for exhaustion and full breakdown.

Usually I handle problems, then decompress, but this approach isn't working with this issue.

Something that is also odd is that I have only been in really bad pain for 4-5 weeks, vs MONTHS with the first flare up before I got to this point. The stress of work, though healthy (and I am demolishing numbers this month so far) is maybe why my limits are being reached quickly.

By calling direct I saved a bunch of time and hassle.... But the phone call was 2.75 hours because of tech problems.

I only call for really strange requests.

ie, Flying from Frankfurt to MSP. Layover in Paris. I want a less than 24hr layover so it is still considered a direct route, but as long as possible to fuck around. There is NO website you can do that on.

Also some flights have seats locked. I unlock them on the phone or at least check before booking. I will NOT book a flight where I cannot book an exit row or bulkhead (when they are curtains only of course). Of course business class is fine wink.png

Boss okayed business for both Asia & Europe. woot.gif

Get your dr to prescribe Seroquel. Yes it's for crazy people but trust me 50mg right before bedtime works miracle. After a week or so you can tell a huge difference in stress/nerves. And sedation is a side effect. Will make you sleep like a baby for 8 hrs or so. Even with the knee pain ( I have arthritis in both mine)

I was told I got some upgrade that is just a snick above the regular economy, and exit row on all flights.

Dunno what the small upgrade seats are, but I'm certain my body will love the exit row, and aisle.

I will talk to him. My tendons feel really great right now. Huge help.

Your knees are osteoarthritis correct? I want to say I remember you mentioning autoimmune disorder previously....

I have psoriatic arthritis and what helps most arthritics doesn't always help me. Especially since my flares are extreme, but my ok times are generally ok.

I'm most likely to get the chemo drug methotrexate when I go in on Friday. Biologics are not as ideal for me since once your on, you are on. The methotrexate is possible to use for flares.

What I am most concerned about right now is pain management. I need more relief than I can get from embarrassing myself at the gym trying to get into the hot tub, and all the time that trip takes when I'm all locked up, and the massages that I don't even have time to schedule.

Taking pain meds has never been my thing, but I'm having so many sympathetic pains from trying to compensate for the inflammation that I'm beginning to loose real mobility. Pain meds and muscle relaxers are the lesser of 2 evils right now.

For just raw sleep, I have a mountain of sleeping pills at my disposal if I so choose, but the pain wakes me up every hour and a half or so.

Son of a good god. You should be dead at 400.

Seroquel is a schizophrenic medication that has sedation properties. At 50 mg the sedation is mild enough that you can wake up during the night if startled. The sleep induced isn't like a sleeping pill. I have shift work syndrome and have taking all kinda of sleeping pills. The best way I can describe it is like being sedated by a dr for surgery. For the first few nights I took it I didn't even know I had slept but I woke up refreshed. Kinda like a drunken black out that's refreshing. And it works much better than a depression pill as well. I'm noticeable calmer when I take them.

Have you had zyprexa?

Same class of drugs. I have had that for sleep before.

Knocks you the Fuck out. Moderate hangover, feel low key and slow.

I get Valium for a muscle relaxer. Works great for sleep AND I don't feel lethargic when I wake up. My job requires extreme mental concentration, so that's important.

Booking direct at hotels, I have always got an upgraded room for a standard price! Have gotten quite a few shitty rooms booking through travel sites.

It is always a good idea to look for major business's nearby and call and ask.

Something along the lines of: Hi, this is Sean. I am looking for a room for 5/15 - 5/17 can you let me know what you have and what the Company X rate is for those days?

In March 2010, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration launched an investigation into the problem, counted 763 complaints including 26 crashes and three injuries. NHTSA also found that the failure rate of brake lines on GM’s trucks in winter states was far higher than in warm-weather states — 43 per 100,000 sold in the north vs. 3 per 100,000 elsewhere, and that in a quarter of cases the system failed on the road without warning. In January 2011, NHTSA upgraded the probe to an “engineering analysis” on at least 1.7 million vehicles, often the final step before an automaker issues a recall or the agency orders one.

I remember saying something about GM in general having issues in the north...

Rust and corrosion are increased in the North.  Why is there a need for investigation?  This is common sense.  People need to be more vigilant and have maintenance performed on their vehicles and have them checked often for issues.

I don't see this as a GM problem, rather a consumer negligence problem.  Of course this is just my opinion.

I agree. Just dont see Ford having the problem to the level of needing a recall.

I also like to stir up the Ford vs GM debate. It's fun.

Plus a problem happening more than 20 times faster..... While salt of course will eat it faster..... I'm not too sure that 20 times more frequent is an acceptable amount....
